Fitilli is an undyed cotton–linen blend fabric woven on semi-automatic traditional looms (“kara tezgah”) for a distinctive, premium feel. The weave creates a subtle ribbed/corded (“fitilli”) texture across the surface—giving the fabric structure, depth, and a natural, artisanal character you can see and feel.

This is not a mass-produced basic cloth. Fitilli is made for makers who value authentic texture, breathability, and a clean undyed base that works beautifully for sewing and natural dye projects.

Why it’s special

  • Traditional loom character: woven on semi-automatic handloom-style looms (“kara tezgah”)
  • Fitilli texture: subtle ribs add dimension and a premium, crafted look
  • Undyed & versatile: ideal for garment sewing, home textiles, and DIY projects
  • Soft, lightweight handfeel: comfortable for everyday use

Note

Because this fabric is produced on semi-automatic traditional looms with natural yarns, you may see subtle slubs, occasional loose fibers, and small texture variations. These are part of the fabric’s authentic, woven character—not defects.
