Duru is an undyed, dye-ready crinkle gauze cotton fabric with a distinctive width-to-width vertical channel texture. The surface shows soft, continuous lines running across the full width—created by a special weave structure that forms subtle raised “ribs” (channels) and gives the fabric a more dimensional, extra-crinkled look.
Fabric character (what makes it different)
- Vertical channel lines (full width): woven-in ribs create a structured, lined surface
- Extra crinkle & airy handfeel: the weave construction enhances the naturally wrinkled look
- Soft but stable: light, breathable, and easy to work with for dyeing and sewing

Note (important)
This fabric is produced on semi-automatic weaving looms, using natural cotton yarns. Because of this production method, you may see subtle slubs, occasional loose fibers, and minor pulled-thread texture variations (as visible in the close-up). These are natural characteristics of the weave and the crinkle structure, and part of the fabric’s authentic texture.
