Undyed 4-Layer Crinkled Muslin Bedspread Throw is a dye-ready textile created for natural dyeing. Woven from 100% cotton, it is completely undyed (natural / uncolored), pre-washed, and ready to take on clean, true shades from your natural dyes and mordants. The fabric has an intentionally extra crinkled texture and fringed edges for a relaxed, artisanal finish.

We sell it primarily as a bedspread, but its lightweight, packable structure also makes it a great choice as a large throw, travel blanket, pareo, yoga cover, picnic blanket, or wrap.

Natural dyeing note (short & practical)

For best results, scour before dyeing (even though it’s pre-washed). Then choose your mordant system depending on the dye and desired shade (commonly tannin + alum for cellulose-based materials).

Care

Wash at 30°C / 86°F

Tumble dry low (or air dry)

Pre-washed; minor shrinkage may occur (approx. 2–3%).
